Kabab Halabi
Kabab Halabi is a kind of kebab served with a spicy tomato sauce and Aleppo pepper, very common in Syria and Lebanon, named after the city of Aleppo (Halab).
Tips from our kitchen
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly oil a 9-inch by 13-inch tray or Pyrex dish. Prepare the sauce: Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Heat the olive oil over medium-high heat and add the onions. Place the kebabs in prepared dish and bake 10 minutes. Serve warm on top of vermicelli rice.
